Concessionary admission to museums on Women’s Day
On 8 March women get a 50% discount on tickets to more than fifty museums in Budapest and in the countryside to celebrate the international Women’s Day.
Several cultural institutions and museums have joined the ’One Day for Women’ project initiated by the Ministry of Human Capacities, which means that female visitors are entitled to a 50% discount on tickets to exhibitions on 8 March.

The institutions which can be visited at a discounted price include the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport, the Stamp Museum, the Castle in Nagytétény, the Hungarian Theatre Museum and Institution, the Hungarian Museum of Natural Sciences, the Dobó István Castle Museum, the Gödöllő Town Museum, as well as the Petőfi Museum of Literature, where – on the occasion of Women’s Day – the Csinszka exhibition will be presented.
