Budapest in front of our eyes – photo exhibition in front of Bálna
The professional jury of the project asked three photographers, Krisztián Bódis, Zsolt Hlinka and Bertalan Soós to present the spaces of Budapest from an unusual perspective
The photograph taken by Bertalan Soós showing the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) has been voted the winner of the public vote in the city communications photo campaign; the billboards of the campaign are presented at an outdoor exhibition which opened on Wednesday in the garden of Bálna Budapest.
The first 15 pictures are shown on 400 billboards all over the country and visitors can also see them at the exhibition at Bálna until 15 September.
The photos of the exhibition present Budapest from a different perspective and they show us a reconstructed and dynamic capital city. The unique and exciting but still familiar photos at the exhibition convey a fresher urban point of view instead of the one we seen on traditional touristic photos.
