Santa Claus Factory now at 150 sites
Santa Claus Factory collects donations for children at 15 sites nationwide from 06 to 22 December.
Sites in Budapest are situated in: 56-osok tere, Mammut shopping mall. In Győr: ETO Park. Nationwide: Duna House real estate agencies, Invázió stores, and every post office. Preferred donation categories inlude durable food products, detergents, personal hygiene-related goods, clothes, toys and sweets. Joulupukki, that is, Santa from Lapland was also present at the event. He emphasised, that material donations should be accompanied by a feeling of care, and that the value of charity should be an integral part of childhood education.
Santa Claus Factory has an annually growing number of applicants for voluntary work, many of whom visit Hungary expressly for this reason. Packing, helping hands arrive from as far as Australia, China, the US and several European countries. Donations are dispatched by volunteers of the Hungarian Red Cross and the Hungarian Post, and delivered to families in deep poverty.
